Dragon Age Inquisition
Prayers
The air was crackled with energy. Sparks were flying here and there. Whirling sound of heavy wind echoed throughout the small courtyard, accompanied by the high screech and the low roar, made this formidable Adamant Fortress felt like another place entirely. Well, it might as well be, considereing the amount of demons and abominations they were fighting with right at this very moment. Not to mention the gapping hole hoovered in the middle of the platform.
It was the Rift, the tear of the Veil that separate the Fade and the real world. Unlike the others, this one was man made, created by the Grey Warden, under
A/N: Before anyone asked, I wrote this in such a way that the reader would be able to picture their warden as the one Zevran is talking/thinking about, if they romanced him or even if they didn't. I may continue this after DAI comes out, especially since I heard that Zevran won't be in the game. This was betaed by the awesome vabvioand.
Disclaimer: I own nothing!
Zevran slowly put down his drink and glared at the man across from him. After the battle at the Kirkwall gallows and once he had made sure that the Champion would be all right, Zevran had left and traveled to a small village to meet one of his contacts. The news that the man had br
The Ortan Thaig was nearly another fortnight's travel in the Deep Roads for the expedition after the miners spent a couple days digging up the passage that they needed to take to reach Ortan Thaig. While the miners dug the passage clear, Aenian would lead Morrigan, Zevran, Vaughan, and Oghren all over the network of caves and tunnels to hunt down stray groups of darkspawn before they could stumble upon them by accident. Sten remained behind with the expedition to stand guard, as well as to discourage the expedition members from turning on each other, as Harrowmont's miners had expressed their fears of being killed by Bhelen's loya

Avery Chapter 6
It had taken him some time before he reached the tower. The ferryman recognized him and welcomed him. “Ser Avery Maker be praised we thought you had died!” Avery nodded at the man and stepped onto the boat. He was in no mood to talk. The skies were grey and dark mirroring the exact mood he was in.
The tower’s massive gate opened and Avery stepped inside. Word quickly spread of his return. Knight Commander Gregoire appeared before him. His aged face was filled with surprise. “Maker be praised son we thought you were dead are you all right?” he clasped his hands on either side of Avery’s shoulder.

We spend a few more days in Riverreach, mostly hoping for another visit from Nevio so we can tell him our plan rather than having to leaving a note. But he doesn't make another appearance, and Aenya is getting antsy, so we reluctantly figure out a message that's vague enough hopefully he and Melita will be able to decipher it, but not the Crows--if they find it. We make sure to put the beds back the way they were, thank Topher and Lee, and leave our vaguely worded note with them as we leave.
I have to admit some apprehension at the idea of spending too long in Antiva City. Aenya is known there, she and I are both being hunted

Alistair and Anders
(After both Alistair and Anders are recruited)
Anders: so you’re a Templar
Alistair: well technically I am and aren’t at the same time, I never finished my training
Anders: oh, so you’ve never hunted Mages before?
Alistair: no which I’m fairly happy about, I prefer to think my life calling is killing Darkspawn rather than Mages who want a bit of fresh air, I do understand why Mages are feared but Magic doesn’t make a man evil, it’s how he uses it, the same with how a man uses a knife, you don’t automaticall

Pair of Hawkes: Planning Ahead
Adia awoke the next day to find a naked Elf in her bed. She smiled and rolled over; snuggling closer to him as she idly traced the markings on his face. Fenris stirred, blinking for a moment, and then smiled. “Good morning, little rogue.”
“Good morning to you too. Sleep well?”
“Very well. After you nearly wore me out, that is,” he added with a smirk. Adia blushed until the tops of her shoulders turned red.
“I... I'm sorry?”
“Do not be,” Fenris assured her with a chuckle. “After all, I think I managed to do the same to you.”
“Yes, well I'm not complaining. I thi
