The choice of a mage
She always watched them from the background. All those talented mages, who knew how to cast spells without any problems. She's been part of the Circle of Magi since she was seven years old, and yet, even 10 years later, she was no better than those who had come only two years ago. It was true that there had been no magic in her family before her, but that shouldn't be an issue.
Why did she have to watch them jealously? That tiny little elf, always Irving's favourite with amazing talents in elemental and spirit magic. Anders, who always ran away and barely attended any lessons, yet he was more talented in healing than any of the apprentices.

Beneath the gallows I am held. A rope is placed around my neck. How did I get here?
All I know is that I don't belong here. Or do I? I deserve this, somehow, deep down inside, I know.
My thoughts swirl in confusion. Coherence is hard to find, ever since I saw his head on a spike, dripping in blood, and sorrow forever etched onto his face. Any determination I once possessed has departed.
What do I fight for? I don't know anymore. The choice was to betray my people, or this. It was a simple choice, even if I did question my purpose. The greater good over the self my mother always preached that. I hope you are proud of me now
"Jada!" The elf winced when his harsh whisper echoed through the dungeon more loudly than he'd thought it would.
At least he was rewarded with an answer, the wavering, desperate voice of a terrified adolescent. "Kiv?!" Her face appeared against bars of a cell maybe a hundred paces down the hallway, framed with dark, tangled curls.
"Shh!" he admonished as he hurried forward. The rusted lock broke easily under slight force from his dagger, and Jada was through the door and clinging to him moments later. "Jada, we need to go."
She nodded against his chest before letting go. "Please."
"Stay close." Kiv grasped her hand and headed for the

Sana had always been a little bit broken.
Sana had left without a word to her former master, or Jowan's former lover. Sana did not make a sound, and left the others in silence.
"They shall be named maleficar, and find no rest in this world or beyond."
How many times had she heard that, every time they were forced into the Circle Chantry she heard it preached over and over, and thought nothing on it. She had just thought of Jowan, and Jowan had just thought of Lily.
"Just let me in, let me in and I'll bring him too you, you can finally be together, just you and him "
Sana had many things to think about now, Jowan, Templars, People an
